I've spent the last couple of weeks in feverish pursuit of how to use/deploy DAP pages (to escape the pain of .asp code). Finally "cracked" th' code 4 days ago, & now have a full set of interactive pages posted up (behind an Army firewall, unfortunately).
Watched "The Missing" (with Kim) last nite... VERY powerful, tho' I expected no less, since TLJ (Tommy Lee Jones) was in a starring role... doesn't matter if th' guy'z a Marine, a bandito or whatever... he CAPTURES it & PROJECTS it!
Little time for music, as th' evil ones push the country (& the world) ever closer to the brink (of course, NOW is th' time when I SHOULD be takin' some solace in th' keys, eh?). Maybe when I hit 60, in a year or so, I can kick back & do NUTHIN' BUT music, yah? (if I MAKE IT)...

It is DIFFICULT to believe I just spent 45 days away from home, in th' swamps of L'ouisiana.... oh, b'well... at least I lived to tell 'bout it, eh? This trip was not NEARLY as bad as the trip in NOVEMBER, but it still was no picnic. We are slated to play one or two more games before going somewhere, though I've no idea when (or where, for that matter)... I s'pose th' nattering of the noisy ones (i.o.w., thee ELECTION) could have some influence on time and destination...
Very LITTLE musical involvement over the last 2 months... we were on an extremely slow connection that only worked about 1/2 the time (tho' for th' lil' peer-to-peer app I designed in ACCESS, it worked very well). So, you folks out in D.I.Y.-land tell ME... what've yer' been UP TO?
I've noticed that Eric's page(s) are gone... he had already taken his BLOG down, but now I don't see th' pages anywhere, either. Stranger & stranger...
's hard to say wot' th' next 6 months will bring... I'd LUV to find a job local to Oly, & sorta' "kick back", but there's bills to pay, bills to pay... bills to..... you know th' drill. Musically, I think I'll PLAY a little over th' next few weeks, but not bother much with RECORDING it... At any rate, I'm gonna' take it E-Z today & enJOY a weekend off...
